MISSION STATEMENT:
As the official county repository for real estate records (deeds, land contracts, mortgages, etc.), the mission of the Shiawassee Register of Deeds Office is to provide accurate and efficient recording and indexing of land records, as well as safe archival storage and convenient access to these public records.

Our goal is to provide timely and quality processing of documents and to protect those records for the public.

Our vision is to always provide our constituents with excellent service.

Due to County budget cuts the hours of operations have changed as follows:

Our Hours are:
      Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
      Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm

Public Access Vault Hours are:
      Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 4:45pm
      Friday 8:15am - 2:45pm

*In the event of a posted Holiday the office will close at 3pm on the last business day of the week.
